Dia de Nino

Dia de Nino (children's day) week=lotsa lotsa shows. Gosh, since yesterday they've been doing two shows a day and the kids are still sooo energetic! Whats up with that??? I really wonder about them...tsk. Anyways... I dont usually go to the shows unless they need a photographer and childcare taker for the littlest ones. But so far, it's been staying home and maning the kitchen 24/7.

But we're having a biggie event coming up for 8,000 poor kids. The adults went to check out the area and it's this massive boxing stadium that can hold up to 10,000 people...so we'll see how that goes. Our whole home is going to hand out the thousands of books that sweet people have sponsored sooo....we have been quite busy during this month. The girlies got together a dance in 7 days, so proud of them. I volunteered to help out with choreographing a ballet-solo for lil'Annie. Didnt know beans on what to do but it flowed and she got it ALL down in the first practise, so proud of that girl. I'm gonna git to finally use MY canon EOS film camera for our event with two film roles in handy so that means, no worrying about running out of film. (hee hee) Hopefully daddy wont hog it all day. (take THAT!) It'd be grrreat if you could pray for smoothness of this event, the good Lawd will bless you abundently...k, tx luv ya! Here, have some photos....

Welcome to Pinkness.

I haven't been updating this blog as often as I used to, I guess that's good....in a way. The truth is, I haven't had the energy and will-powa to git my brain stirred up for some upbeat post. Im berry berry sorry.

As you can see I changed my template into something mucho more girly and uplifting. (but the frog-that-found-no-name will be greatly missed) I dunno about these templates tho, they give me a hard time with my posts' and what not.

Now that we've got that covered, let me walk you through the new tid-bits added onto the side bar. The link lists' are in new categories, we have one called "Beautifulness" for the ladies and "Handsomeness" for the men. (....Hey! don't you "duh" me.) I would have been normal and named all of the links with their proper names so that it would be easy access for you, but obviously this is my blog and I do what I want. (heh heh)
Next we have the regular cbox that NO ONE has commented in for sometime now, I'm gonna use it for random little updates that don't need a big post to be expounded on. So if you come here and see no updated-posts, there might be an updated cboxer!!! So check there, all you gotta do is scroll down when you get to my page...easy as one two three.
Next we have a girly map that my sister introduced to me. This makes me have clearer picture on who YOU are that come to see my ever so sexy blog, and how many times you do. (who the heck lives in Humble, Texas? I cant get over it!! 'Humble' hahah.) So yeah, your being watched, bewaare! (muahaha)
Last but not ever so least, we have a little section called "bite me". Yes. I'm not sure if I should update it with new pictures of bite-me-able men, cuz it takes a while for me to get it together and it might become a time waster...we'll see. But for now, James McAvoy will have first place as a "Bite Me"....lucky man.

P.S. whoa, your right Ben! After looking at my page for a couple of minutes, you look around you and everything is green!!! Heavy.

Restructuring

Accomplished Freeday.

Muchas cosas is happening over here. *pats chest* and its been all good. Strong feelings of fulfillment and joy is always filling up my senses. Its cool, me gusta.

Spanish! Ahaa, whata joy and victory it was to have that snippet of a conversation with the Elotes guy at the gas station. (Elotes guy: regular supporter of Elotes. (Mexican spicy corn soup stuff) But ya know, his Spanish was really slurry so I had to say "que" about one hundred times...but after a second go-around, I understood him pretty good.

Elotes guy: "Vives en Juarez?"
Joan: "Si"

Elotes guy: "Porque?"

Joan: "Perdon, que?"

Elotes guy: "Vives en Juarez?"

Joan: "Si, vivo en juarez"

Elotes guy: "Porque?"

Joan: "Porque, me gusta!"

Elotes guy: "Que es tu trabajo?"

Joan: "que?"

Elotes guy: "Tu trabajo...missionera?"

Joan: "Si"
Elotes guy: "Pero tu papa es missionero...tu tambien?"
Joan: "Si, yo tambien."

Elotes guy: "Porque?"

Joan: "Porque...Me gusta!"

Yeeeah, pretty much straight forward and to the point. Good stuff. Me gusta!

Ahh, that same day we got hit by a dirt devil. (no its not a vacuum cleaner, its one of those miniature tornado's) It was quite an experience, I'm telling ya! Your outside, no where to go with your tools on the table and all you can do is hold the tools down so that they wont go flying away....but at the same time, you're trying to endure the sand-wind that's hitting every part of your body and trying not to be blown up with the funnel. I'm telling you, its the only time I wished I was obese. It was really freaky. But it came and it went and left us looking like homeless people covered in sand with the hair sticking up like some TORNADO hit us....PTL! It was a funny site afterwards. Heh heh.

That SAME day, I drove!!! Yes...I drove a van for the very first time in my life. I'm trying to get my drivers licenses, in case you didn't know. (heh, now don't you say that women drivers are freaky.....just keep that comment to yourself and lock it up for a rainy day) Back to the story, it was grrreeat. I got a major kick outta it. Kinda like your a go-cart except bigger and better. Hee hee, my Dad is a funny teacher. It went something like this...

*Joan gets in front seat turns engine on*

Daddy: "Okay, not let go of the key...LET GO OF THE KEY!!!"

Joan: "WOAH WOAH WOAH!!....I know, ok!!!"

Daddy: "Now, what are those peddles?"

Joan: "Right is break, left is gas"

Daddy: "Oh geee......its the other way around JOAN!"

Joan: "aheh heh heh....I knew that"

(note: automatic car...bummer)

*learns about gears, etc. and starts driving*

Daddy: "Now slow down...slow down!!!!"

Joan: *does one of those powerful stops...ouuuch"

Daddy: ".....geeesh, now put your turn signal on and turn....TURN!! TURN NOW!! SHARP TURN!!!"

Joan: "GOSH!"

Heh heh, that's the hard part, turning. I cant master the art of turning at the turns....it's sucha work out for the arms!! ... all in due time amigos, all in due time. I'll be practising more so don't you worry, I'll be sucha great driver...you'd be asking me to take you around EVERYWHERE!!! (and paying me for it too....heh heh heeeeh)

Anyways, that ends the update for my free day. It was quite an experience. I just zonked out when I got back and slept for two hours. So exhaaaauusted!!! Hopefully next week, I will have a restful free day. I hope this suffices as a extremely needed update. Thanks for reading.
