I guess it makes sense to spell it "Katou", as hiragana-wise it`s written かとう which in Romagi is ka -to-u. So I guess you are right Joanie. But, when you actually say Kato, it sounds just like that かと, you don`t actually pronounce the う, so I`d rather write it Kato. Ahem..yes, I`m finished now.
HAAA!!! I TOLD YOU AIKI!!!
and the proper kanji comes out on the computer if you spell it with a "U" at the end.
