About the lots offamily songs... I really dom't get it... all you family ppl sing about is your hatred for the "system" how meany of you have been there? how meany of you realy know what it is like? most of us who have left don;t blame the family we don't curse your name... so why can't you just let it go? if you have to sing your stupid songs.. sing them about anything elce bisides the life we chose.... i don;t understand you ppl.....
We don't ONLY sing about the hatred toward the system. I can give you a huge list of other songs that we sing, but I doubt your very interested in being busted by Joanie. (haaaa!)
But when we do sing about it, it's not against YOU or the "meany" (btw, it's spelt "many") people who have left the family for a decent purpose. We sing it for all the people out there who are pretty much BORED and SICK of the system, who are totally hungry for something DIFFERENT and NEW, so that one day they'll find our music and be encouraged by it and happy to know that there's some people who feel free, alive, loved, needed, and happy. Yeah, we don't know what it's like out there. But when the musicians write their songs, they pray that they can have an understanding heart for the lost. When they do, they can write down what THEY (not former members, but the lost sheep) feel the system is like.
So dont get offended by it. We all respect peoples decisions for leaving the Family. Our musics' soul purpose (if you remember) is to reach the lost. Music is the key to opening hearts. And THEN, for inspiration to all the members of The Family. But definently NOT to blast former members who choose a life of their own.
